We launch ValPal Pro on WhatsApp

When it comes to winning instructions, speed matters. But increasingly, it's not just how quickly agents respond that matters - it's how they communicate.

That's why AI-driven ValPalPro has introduced a new WhatsApp integration, giving agents another way to engage, nurture and convert leads through a platform that consumers already use every day.

The launch follows The ValPal Network becoming an official Meta Verified Tech Provider, allowing ValPalPro to connect directly with WhatsApp Business infrastructure and add WhatsApp messaging alongside its existing phone, SMS and email engagement tools.

The timing reflects a major shift in consumer behaviour. WhatsApp now has more than three billion monthly active users worldwide, with over 150 billion messages sent every day. More than 200 million businesses use WhatsApp Business, and message open rates are often reported to be significantly higher than email.

For estate agents, that's a compelling opportunity.

Generating leads has never been the whole story. The real challenge is staying connected with homeowners between their initial enquiry and the point where they're ready to instruct an agent.

Whether someone requests an online valuation, responds to a marketing campaign or makes an enquiry through a portal, the quality of follow-up often determines who wins the business.

Traditionally, that has meant a mix of calls, emails and text messages. Those channels remain important, but WhatsApp offers something slightly different. Conversations feel more natural, more personal and easier to continue over time, helping agents stay front of mind without overwhelming potential clients.

Carl Gascoigne, Head of Product & Innovation at The ValPal Network, believes the benefits go beyond simple convenience.

"WhatsApp gives us much greater flexibility in how we engage leads. Conversations can flow naturally across multiple exchanges at reduced cost to the client compared to SMS.

"Agents receive a messaging allowance as part of their ValPalPro package, and WhatsApp allows significantly more engagement within that allowance compared with traditional SMS activity.

"There's also a perception among consumers that WhatsApp communication feels more secure, more trusted and ultimately more professional than standard text messaging, which is important when dealing with high-value transactions like property."

The integration could prove particularly valuable outside normal office hours. Many valuation requests and property enquiries arrive during evenings and weekends, when homeowners have time to research their options. Automated WhatsApp engagement means those leads can be acknowledged and nurtured immediately, while interest is still at its highest.

More broadly, the move reflects the growing role of AI and conversational technology within estate agency. Consumers increasingly expect businesses to communicate through the channels they already use, while agents need tools that help them maintain meaningful conversations at scale.

WhatsApp won't replace phone calls, emails or face-to-face meetings. What it does offer is another way to build relationships and keep potential sellers engaged throughout their property journey.

And in a market where responsiveness can make all the difference, that will be a powerful advantage.
